Michelle and Hetvi as Jordan and Daisy

This is our video and it's awesome. And the cheetah was in there because we thought that Jordan was kind of evil as she is always looking to worship others (especially those with money like Daisy) so that she can get something out of them. Therefore in this video we tried to make it seem that Jordan was always agreeing with Daisy. However, we were going to do a voice over thoughts thing but we figured it would take too much time and it might be confusing :) And we tried to make Daisy as stupid as possible.

BY THE WAY, this scene is about after Nick visited Daisy's house for the first time and Jordan had mentioned that she knew Gatsby. This is when Daisy is talking to Jordan and is having second thoughts about marrying Tom over Gatsby. This scene wasn't exactly in the novel but we tried to incorporate it using our empathy skills :)

I spell 'Daisy' wrong on the first slide, my bad. :(

The changes in Daisy's emotions in this video show how childish she is. However, it does show her insight, and that she's not just simply a rich and shallow woman as we've discussed in class. She's the one who has been left behind and she has her own feelings too. Eventually, she chooses Tom for her happiness.

Apologies for the rubbish resolution - thats what happens when you use a digital sensor in low light... Anyway, I portray Gatsby looking out over the bay at the Buchanan's dock as he reflects over his first meeting with Daisy at Nick's house. Enjoy my lacklustre acting! 

Cheryl and Emma

Cheryl is depicting Daisy when she first marries Tom and I'm Daisy in the future after she runs away with Tom from Gatsby's death and all that. We're just showing the before and after of what goes on inside Daisy's ditzy little head on the topic of Tom, as in spite of a complete contrast in her opinion of him during and after their marriage, the only thing that remains the same is Daisy's yearning for his status, security and money.
